The lines of right and wrong are blurred by the light of true love.

After Emma tumbles into a deep depression, Charlie Russell struggles with the decision to seek professional help for his wife. This hauntingly beautiful tale portrays the inner world of two exceedingly stubborn men: one who would do anything for money, and one who would do anything for love.

About the author

Laura Jane Rye is a native of Monroe, Michigan, but her 40-acre camp, located in the most northern tip of the Upper Peninsula, embodies her spirit.

She has a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and a master’s in Human Resources from Marygrove College. Laura enjoys giving, playing piano, and new ideas. She hopes to continue writing and publishing stories about houses until she has created a series.

I was engrossed. The story lines were held together very well. The power of love and the effects of support resonate throughout. While the central subject matter is foreign to me I found the explanations and details compelling. A good read.
